My Almond Milk in the making!


So far I have soaked my almonds this morning and tonight I will be making almond milk. I cant wait, Im so excited!

Will update after blending them!

Sun-dried Tomato Flax Crackers



I am making flaxseed crackers. They look so yummy.
What I did:
1 c Flaxseed soaked for 35-40 min & drained
1/2 c sun-dried tomato soaked & drained
dash of cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
pinch of sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper, italian seasonings.

I left flaxseed as is after draining. I chopped up tomato and added all the rest of ingredients. Mixed and put into try in my small oven in the lowest temperature which happens to be 105 degrees F till I get dehydrator. I was going to put them to sun-dry but it was really cloudy today and there was hardly any sun here. Now I cant wait till they are done. Yummy yum! In pictures they look like big cookies but I spread it out evenly and then will just break off or score them before I turn them over.

Tomorrow I will be dipping them in homemade pesto with spinach & basil from my garden. Yum

Choco Coco Banana Milk


So I couldnt resist the temptation of getting dairy milk this morning but didnt gave in. I made myself coconut milk with banana and some cocao & honey. It was so delicious. I did strain it because I used natural unsweetened coconut and it was good to go then added the cocao and honey.

Tonight my almonds will finish soaking and I will be having a glass of Almond Milk tonight. Mmm...

So much to do tomorrow!

I want to make Flax Seed Crackers, Corn Chips, and either Apple-Raisin Cookies or Banana Bread/Cookies! I cant wait to do eat RAW crackers. I have been craving carbs for 3 days now and I need to eat some. It wont be done tomorrow so hopefully by Sun or Mon I could eat it and actually not break my RAW food diet. lol

Im proud of myself today!






I drank a Raw Smoothie this morning with banana, strawberries, spinach and wheat germ. Then for lunch I had a regular sandwich and for dessert a bunch of grapes.

For dinner I had a steak with a corn salsa.
Corn Salsa
half of fresh ear of corn
1/2 tsp of cilantro
1/4 tomato
6 Spinach leaves
dash of olive oil
sea salt
black pepper

For dessert, I am going to eat a fruit salad with grapes, watermelon, bananas, strawberries, kiwi, apples, & pears. Yummy Yum!

RAW Smoothie


I made a RAW smoothie this morning. I woke up earlier than usual because I cant eat breakfast too early or I feel nauseous. I did everything I had to do this morning then prepared my smoothie. It was so delish!
1 frozen Banana
3 Strawberry
5-6 Spinach leaves
1 tsp Raw Honey
1 tsp Raw Wheat Germ
1/4 c water

Blend it all up and wanted more after it was done! Yummy Yum.

Went grocery shopping

Today I went to an all natural & organic grocery store and bought different types of fruits, nuts and grains. I was super excited to go and loved the store. Its so homey and inviting. I am going to make fruit salad for lunch tomorrow with all the variety of fruits we got.

Fifty percent RAW so far

Its hard giving up cooked foods cold turkey. I really thought that I could do it 100% but I need sometime getting used to it. I think by June I could do it 100%. Right now I have been eating raw veggies, fruits, nuts, and sprouted oatmeal along with cooked salmon & chicken, etc. I havent tried dehydrating anything yet since I didnt have a dehydrator but after research the best dehydrator is the Sun. So this weekend, I am making some dehydrated crackers and pizza crust to start.
Now as far as eating salad, I love my ranch dressing and could not give that up ever. I used organic ranch so I guess it cant be that bad. I dont think there would be a good substitute for that ever unless it tastes identical to it. So if there is ranch lovers out there and you know RAW recipes that you personally love, please let me know. LOL

What I look forward to in eating RAW...

Number ONE thing would be acne-free face with a clear complexion. I dont want pimples in that certain time of the month where I look like crap!

I also look forward to losing weight and being healthy. I want to look thin but also feel good about it by not following a weird diet that isnt good for you!

I also look forward to having more energy and being able to do more stuff than now like exercises. Oh yeah, the the 6 hour sleep would be great since I dont sleep much anyways. I just want to feel energized and not tired all time like I always am!

So RAW foods here I go!
